Jordan Robert Farmar was born on November 30, 1986 in Los Angeles, California. Jordan Farmar is an American basketball player who was drafted 26th in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. He had previously been the starting point guard for the UCLA men's basketball team.

2004-05

UCLA - As a true freshman in 2004-05, Farmar (Far-mar) was the Rivals.com National Freshman of the Year and just the fifth UCLA player in history to earn Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honors . . . As a senior, Jordan Farmar averaged 27.5 points and 6.5 assists and led Taft, coached by Derrick Taylor, to the school's first Los Angeles City title (a 64-60 victory over UCLA teammate's Josh Shipp's Fairfax HS squad/Jordan Farmar hit four straight free throws over the last 20 seconds to seal the victory for Taft and scored 29 points in the game) and a 28-3 final overall record ... In the southern California Regional playoffs, he scored 36 points in a quarterfinal victory over Mission Viejo and 38 points, including 27 of Taft's final 29 points (20 in the fourth period), in a semifinal loss to Etiwanda ... Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO (started two of five games and helped lead the West to a bronze medal, Jordan Farmar averaged 14.0 points and was the Festival leader in three-point shooting (60.7, 17-28), assists (9.2) and steals (2.6) ...As a junior, he averaged 28.5 points per game, 8.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 4.5 steals ... Led Taft to a 25-6 overall record, including 10-0 in the conference and to the CIF Los Angeles City Section semifinals (first time in school history) ...
