Jordan Robert Farmar was born on November 30, 1986. Jordan Farmar is an American basketball player who was drafted 26th in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Jordan Farmar had previously been the starting point guard for the UCLA men's basketball team.

In 2004-05 Jordan Farmar was a freshman in University of California, Los Angeles ( UCLA). Jordan Farmar was the Rivals.com National Freshman of the Year and just the fifth UCLA player in history to earn Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honors. Jordan Farmar was one of only two Bruins to start every game (29, with sophomore teammate Arron Afflalo), Farmar averaged 34.3 minutes (No. 2 on the team), 13.2 points (No. 2 - also No. 3 on the Bruin all-time freshman chart, No. 1 among freshman guards), a team-high 5.28 assists and a team-high .801 (109-136) from the foul line. As a senior, Jordan Farmar was prepster in 2003-04, Farmar led Taft HS to the school's first Los Angeles City title and he was a McDonald's All-American. 2004-05 -- In 29 starts, Jordan Farmar averaged 34.3 minutes (No. 2 on the team), 13.2 points (No. 2 - also No. 3 on the Bruin all-time freshman chart, No. 1 among freshman guards), 3.5 rebounds (No. 4), a team-high 5.28 assists and 1.41 steals (No. 2), while shooting .411 (120-292) from the field, .333 (No. 4, 34-102) from three-point range and a team-high .801 (109-136) from the foul line. Jordan Farmar was 14th in the Pac-10 in scoring, second in assists, seventh in free throw percentage, ninth in steals and fifth in minutes played entering the NCAA Tournament. Jordan Farmar led all Pac-10 freshmen in scoring, assists, free throw percentage and minutes played and was seco nd in steals. Jordan Farmar scored in double figures 21 of his 29 games.
